ISO 9001:2008 Awareness Course
COURSE OVERVIEW:
The course is interactive in nature with emphasis on active involvement of participants in group-work, brainstorming, reflection exercises and participants gaining knowledge from each other, which will help participants in assimilating and consolidating their understanding of Quality Management System Standard based on ISO 9001:2008 effectively.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
The principal aim of this course is to help provide participants with an overview of the fundamentals of quality management systems, especially those based on the ISO 9000 family of international standards.
At the end of the course, the participants will learn about :
Purpose of a Quality Management System.
Principles of Quality Management.
ISO 9000 Series of standards
Interpretation of ISO 9001:2008 requirements.

This course is intended for quality professionals seeking an understanding of the quality management system standards. Anyone planning to complete other ISO9000:2000 series based training courses such as Internal QMS auditing or ISO9000:2000 Auditor/Lead Auditor. The course would also be useful as an introduction for anyone involved in the development, implementation and management of an ISO9001:2008 management system.
